The main cause of video errors with these two opponents is an incorrectly
installed CODEC it is easy to fix.
- Browse to c:\Rebel (or wherever the game is installed)
- Find "msmpeg4.inf" right click on it
- Select install from the menu
- Restart the game
Most probable causes are...
- You haven't downloaded the FREE girlfriend file girlfriend
OPN, RPV and RPA files are the data files associated with Rebel Strip
Poker, and contain the data necessary to play the game and show the video
portions
when you first started the game you were asked to give a
password, that is what is being requested
If you did not enter a password there is a few reasons

The computer is not yours => Don't touch other peoples toys
- Your Roommate has been at your computer => Kick his/her butt
- The computer is secondhand and the game was previously registered
=> You really should wipe your hard drive and start again, you never
know what you will catch...
For the last two please attach the file called "rebel.key" to an email and send it to us.
The attach command is usually a picture of a paperclip.
The file rebel.key is usually found in the "c:\rebel" folder

Rebel Strip Poker V1.4 allows you to delete the rebel.key file and start again.

You probably don't have all the drivers installed
How to uninstall and reinstall your video drivers
- Open Control Panel
- Open Add / Remove Programs
- click on the Windows setup tab
- Scroll down to Multimedia
- Make sure it has a tick against it,
- If it already has you will need to unload it and reload it again
- clear the tick
- click on ok
- restart your computer
- do the next step
- If it hasn't got a tick, Highlight it by clicking on it
- click on details
- select required items
- make sure Audio Compression AND Video compression have ticks
- Click ok
- Click ok
- restart your computer
- go to control panel
- open multimedia
- open advanced
- click on the next to audio compression Codecs
- you should now find IMA ADPCM and ADPCM codecs
- Make sure that they are enabled by clicking on the properties button for each
Sometimes you may need to uninstall your multimedia and reinstall it
to get everything working properly.
Your "rebel.hlp" file contains instructions for this. start
the game and press F1 to open the help file
Video shouldn't run full screen, it should be in a window.
- Go to control panel.
- Select Multimedia.
- Click the Video tab.
- Select windowed at original size. that should play it correctly.
NOTE: Do the reverse if you want it to play full screen

Possible causes are...
- Network Errors

- Proxy server problems
The most common cause for this is not setting your proxy server correctly.
- Start zap and click on options to get to the proxy settings
- It is best to use the default settings (provided by Internet Explorer) click use default and then
click open Internet options to access the settings
you will have to contact your ISP for the correct settings
